Site News / Home Page Juggling

The home page contents have been juggled around a bit. The weather code has had some slight changes as well. You may have noticed the Google ads are gone from the front page (if you didn't then you were blocking ads). I'm working on a new news aggregator, but it's slow coming. Other changes recently include minor updates to the Gallery and Webmail.

If you've got an email account here, you should check out the new webmail. RoundCube Webmail has made it's debut. Logon using your email username and password.

For those using Brian's Webmail... hold on, webmail is about to get easier. I have selected RoundCube for the next generation of webmail at Brian's Corner. This product is still in development, but it already blows away the competition. It is that great! I am working on the site integration... soon.

Site News / Links Update

Links has a new feature. Go into the Settings option. The new feature allows you to view Visits Per Month. This shows sites based on overall popularity. The total visits calculation favors longevity over popularity. This becomes more important as new sites are added nearly two years after the links engine debuted. Check it out! Site News / Updates, and a Lack of Updates

Coppermine (the photo gallery) has had a minor update to v1.4.4. On the webmail side of things, I have been doing a lot of testing, evaluating, and analyzing. Nothing is ready yet... but hopefully soon a new webmail system will take over on this site. Ilohamail has been good, but it has issues with multi-part messages (I want a better display for these).

Site News / The Forums... Changing

The forums have received an upgrade to version 1.1 rc2. I also changed the theme to the new default. Overall, makes quite the improvement. Over 350 links posted, and more changes coming.

Site News / Back To Normal (Maybe?)

OK. I have finally found the time to resolve a few things with the site. Namely, the new forums are online. The structure of the forums is simpler. Coppermine had a minor upgrade to v1.4.3. I am also re-evaluating webmail apps... expect more changes.

Site News / Long Time Coming

Coppermine has been updated to the much awaited version 1.4.2. Much more control, and power. The best photo gallery just got better. Picture uploads do not need to be resized first anymore! I'm still working on other updates to the site; the Links engine now has over 340 links.

I am slowly working on updates to this site. Here are the updates made recently: Coppermine v1.3.3, IlohaMail v0.9.0(dev), and on the Links I added a Turing test to block webpage trolling systems when you List Your Site - thanks to viebrock.ca. Check out the 290+ links...
