- The site started in late 2003 with seven pages. As my research continues, I also continue to add pages to share news and information about hybrid cars and their impact. To help share this content and build a community of hybrid drivers, I distribute a monthly email newsletter and have recently created an online discussion forum. My research also entails interviewing people who engineer, sell, and service hybrids, and those who advocate for their use. These interviews are transcribed and edited into a quarterly publication called, “An Insiders Look at Hybrid Cars.”
