Hiding in the Corners

Just when I thought I had redone everything, I forgot site search. Each new component had it's own search, designed to be fast and efficient. Meanwhile, the top search function relied on Google's indexing (and ads). I knew it could be better. AI to the rescue.

Within a few hours, Google's site search had been replaced by a context rich replacement. The search is controlled by user access rights. It's fast. The site has an adaptive indexer... up to every 10 minutes for some components. Searches complete is less than 10 ms on the server. User experience is less than 100 ms - mostly internet time, that I cannot speed up.

The other big change is the one you can't see. The site has a health check that will identify problems when they occur, not when I see them. This enables rapid investigation and remediation. We're not talking uptime, we're talking full functionality. It's a huge gap that took a few minutes of AI.

No update would be complete without many other smaller changes: enhanced menus, formatting and consistency fixes, security improvements, api protection against bots, dead link checks, and other optimizations. I'm sure there's something I'm forgetting...
